The Orioles' firesale continued on the day of the MLB trade deadline as the team dealt multiple centerpieces. After trading Cedric Mullins earlier in the day, Baltimore dealt designated hitter Ryan O'Hearn and outfielder Ramón Laureano to the San Diego Padres.

Mullins marks the fifth player traded by the 50-59 Orioles this month, joining relievers Bryan Baker, Seranthony Dominguez and Andrew Kittredge and infielder Ramon Urías. The club later traded DH Ryan O'Hearn and outfielder Ramon Laureano to the San Diego Padres.
