Miramax has named former Village Roadshow and CBS executive Alix Jaffe president of television at the company. Jaffe will formally join Miramax on March 31, taking oversight of the company’s TV portfolio. She takes over for Marc Helwig, who departed earlier this year. Senior vp television development Mirsada Abdool Raman will report to Jaffe.

Former Village Roadshow and CBS executive Alix Jaffe has been named president of television at US-based studio Miramax.

Village Roadshow's Alix Jaffe is joining Miramax as the studio's new president of television on March 31. Jaffe, who will report directly to Miramax CEO Jonathan Glickman, will be responsible for overseeing the company's teams in Los Angeles,
