Margaritas are a great way to set a tone for a party, and salty or sweet, frozen or iced, they are always going to be a good time. And while the classic is a pretty simple blend of tequila, lime, and triple sec, there’s all sorts of ways add flavor and spice and make it something quite unique.

National Margarita Day is Feb. 22, from discounted margaritas to specialty cocktails, here are the top deals at Houston restaurants and bars.

February 22 is National Margarita Day. To celebrate the day, some restaurants in the Capital Region are having drink specials.

The casual restaurant chain partners with Lifetime on a 15-minute program promoting the holiday, which falls on Saturday, Feb. 22.

Little Red Barn Steakhouse, 1836 S Hackberry St., will celebrate National Margarita Day with $5 margaritas all day on Feb. 22. Margaritaville, 849 E Commerce St., will have a full evening of events to celebrate National Margarita Day.

The seafood restaurants started like East Texas fishing camps, but now they serve everything from queso to gumbo.

Cuervo has selected 18 top margarita spots, with their bars and restaurants in Belfast, Dublin, Cork and Kilkenny making the list. The venues will be showcased through social content on the Jose Cuervo Ireland Instagram feed all this week and each establishment will serve a special Cuervo Margarita this week through to Sunday 23 February.
