An Extreme Heat Warning has been issued for much of Central Florida, where temperatures are expected to reach dangerous levels. High temperatures are expected to range between 95 and 100 degrees. The heat will feel even more intense, with "feels like" temperatures reaching 110 to 115 degrees.

ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida is under a rare heat warning as “feels-like” temperatures reach dangerous levels Tuesday afternoon, flirting with records. An Extreme Heat Warning is in effect from noon to 7 p.m.

FOX Weather Correspondent Brandy Campbell reports from West Palm Beach, Florida, among the cities facing a brutal combination of humidity and heat. Campbell spoke to residents who were out before the Sun to avoid the heat.

An Extreme Heat Warning is in effect for Central Florida Tuesday, with highs near 100° and feels-like temps up to 115°.

Heat cramps are painful muscle cramps and spasms, usually in the legs and abdomen. They may also be a symptom of heat exhaustion. Apply firm pressure on cramping muscles or gently massage to relieve spasms. Give sips of water unless the person complains of nausea, then stop giving water.

"Cooler" weather is on the way, with highs starting to taper off Wednesday into the weekend, but temperatures will still be in the 90s.

Another heat advisory has been issued for the Big Bend. Outdoor workers are reporting dizziness, headaches, and hospitalization this summer.

Temperatures soared across Florida on July 27, including in Naples which set an all-time high for the day with a reading of 98 degrees.
