Flash floods in central Texas killed at least 24 people, and about two dozen people were missing from the Camp Mystic Christian summer camp, most reported to be young girls.

The National Weather Service out of Austin in its Saturday morning forecaster's discussion noted that "rounds of showers and isolated thunderstorms" are likely through the evening for much of the Central Texas region,

An eight-year-old girl and the director of an all-girls summer camp are among the victims of flash floods in Texas, which have claimed at least 27 lives - including nine children.
