Affected residents were encouraged to drink bottled water or to boil tap water for two minutes prior to consumption.

The City of Las Vegas said the area is currently under a precautionary boil water order. The city has been dealing with low water pressure because water usage is higher than water production. They are asking for people to conserve water and check for leaks around their properties.

Liberty placed its customers in Aurora in a voluntary boil water advisory.The system temporarily lost water pressure this week. Crews later fixed it.This advisory will be in effect until further notice to allow for a required bacterial test to ensure the system’s safety.
