All four rounds of the NBA playoffs are best-of-seven, and teams are not reseeded after each round. The team with the better regular-season record in each series will have home-court advantage for that series. All series are played in a 2-2-1-1-1 format, with the team with the better record hosting Games 1, 2, 5 and 7 (if necessary).
The Nuggets and Thunder will battle tonight in a pivotal Game 5. If Oklahoma City wins, Denver will be forced to win two straight to advance, something neither of these teams has done in this series. If Denver wins, they’ll have a chance to close out the series on their home floor in Game 6.
The New York Knicks went up 3-1 on the defending Champion Boston Celtics thanks to another brilliant second half performance from Jalen Brunson.
The Cavs received a major boost with All-Star forward Evan Mobley (sprained left ankle), All-Star point guard Darius Garland (sprained left big toe) and wing De'Andre Hunter (sprained right shooting thumb) returning from injury. Mobley had 18 points and 13 rebounds, Garland scored 10 points and Hunter added eight points and five rebounds.
In addition to his game-saving defensive plays in the series’ first two contests, Bridges has made up for offensive struggles with averages of 5.3 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 2.7 steals while playing a whopping 44.0 minutes per game.
